Scotton Construction has carried out work on a car park expansion at Doncaster Sheffield Airport.

The first phase of this project saw a new car park opened on 1st July 2019, with 21,600m2 area of car park built, initially expanding parking capacity by over 550 self-park spaces.

Our work includes not only the building of the car park, but also the installation of groundworks and drainage to ensure that it is fit for purpose.

Doncaster Sheffield Airport offers 55 destinations including long haul. Civil Aviation Authority figures show it to be the fastest-growing airport in the country, with a record 1.45m passengers expected by the end of this year, and a projected 4.7m annual passengers by 2037.

A second phase of the project will see further expansion, with the number of additional self-park spaces rising to a total of 750 by 2020 to meet growing demand.

This phase is out to tender at the moment, and we hope that we can continue to play our part in the success of this rapidly-growing regional airport.
