What is CITB Construction Skills?

CITB is the industry training board for the construction sector in England, Scotland and Wales, and a partner in ConstructionSkills, the sector skills council.

With a stated goal of “building a better Britain”, the job of the CITB is to use their knowledge and resources to help the construction industry attract talent and to support skills development in order to develop a world-class workforce.

CITB works with the construction industry to ensure that training standards and qualifications are fit for purpose. They also work with employers to provide training, and to help them get funding for innovation and skills development.
